Scott was a wonderful guy and a dear friend. He will be remembered lovingly and will be greatly missed. Love and condolences to his family.
Scott and I had many discussions, mostly by phone – and it was fascinating to talk to Scott. If you ever raised a topic with Scott, or stated something as fact – you darn well better have done your research and know what you are talking about. Scott would know if it had anything to do with recent news, what’s happening in the World, anything about the business world, or most anything else. And, as we all know, the person on the other end of the phone would know exactly what Scott thought.
Paula, I am so sorry for your loss and so grateful for the chats we had over the past several months. If I can ever be of assistance I am here.
Scott will be missed terribly, and I feel so badly for mother Billie who has lost so much, his dear Aunt Billie with whom he shared so much, and for Laurie who must now shoulder the family responsibilities once shouldered by Buddy.
We will greatly miss our dear friend Scott. It is with much sadness that we must say goodbye. Thank you for many good times. We love you Scotry.
Scott was a treasured cousin and a great guy, and will be greatly missed and always remembered with love.
My heartfelt condolences to Paula and the Tanner family. I had the privilege of working with Scott at API, where his contributions to global oil and gas measurement standards will have a lasting impact. He will be deeply missed.
I will always remember Scott as a good soul and dude. Always with a smile and a technical topic for discussion while at the API COPM meetings. He would love anything related to motorcycles and we would speaks for hours about it.
I will keep him in my mind like that “always with a smile and a waving hand getting my attention to have a beer together and chat.
Wherever you are man. Keep riding.
Scott was one of my best work friends at API and in the petroleum industry. His humor was always second to none. Sharp as a tack and would not rest until all of the details were understood and completed. I will miss him. Condolences to Paula and the rest of his family and friends.
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Scott Tanner. I had the privilege of working with Scott during our time together at API, and his expertise in measurement calculations was truly remarkable. He brought not only knowledge but also generosity and professionalism to every interaction.
