Patricia Tinsley
Patricia Murphy “Pat” Tinsley of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, in Humble, Texas.
Pat was born in South Carolina and grew up in a military family, moving throughout the Southeast United States and spending part of her childhood in Hawaii. Those years gave her a lifetime of experiences and helped shape the quiet, strong, and dependable woman she became.
Pat was a woman of extraordinary work ethic. She believed in doing things correctly and efficiently, and she rarely complained. When there was work to be done, Pat simply did it. She was dependable, loyal, and always willing to carry her share of the load.
Pat was a quiet and soft-spoken person who never needed many words to make her feelings known. She was a homebody who preferred the comfort of home and family to traveling or attending events. For Pat, family was the most important thing in life.
She showed her love not through grand gestures, but through her presence, loyalty, hard work, and the dependable care she gave to the people she loved. Those who knew her best understood that when Pat said little, her actions spoke volumes.
Pat is survived by her husband, Glen Tinsley; her children, James Kelly, Matthew Kelly, and David Kelly; her stepdaughter, Megan Birkenfeld; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pat will be remembered for her quiet strength, her tremendous work ethic, her loyalty to her family, and the steady love she gave throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In her honor, there will be a memorial service on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.
