Miguel Cruz, Jr.
It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Miguel Cruz, Jr., who departed this life on August 29, 2026, at the age of 80. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Miguel Cruz will be leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selfless devotion. A loving husband, dedicated father, and proud grandfather and great-grandfather, he always placed the needs of others before his own. His family was the center of his world, and he worked tirelessly to provide, support, and encourage those he loved. Known for his generous heart, quiet strength, and compassionate spirit, Miguel Cruz, Jr. touched countless lives through simple acts of kindness and unwavering dedication to family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his love, values, and memories will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Miguel Cruz, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Miguel Cruz, Sr.,; his sister, Pearl Garcia; and his brother, Robert Cruz, George Cruz, and Lionel Cruz.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Irma Cruz; his children, Elke Perry, Eric Cruz, Marc Cruz, and Dyan Gault; his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers, Cesar Cruz, Abel Cruz, and Steve Cruz.; and many other relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
While he may no longer walk beside us, his love remains in our hearts every day. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 P.M. at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Helens Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd, Pearland, TX 77581, with a burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Houston, TX. at 2:30 p.m.
