The loss of a child is the hardest and most painful thing a human being can ever go through in this life. I cannot even imagine your pain, a pain that must be that much deeper that his beautiful children will grow without their loving father, and a wife without her loving husband. I feel for you, I cry with you, and I share your grief. May God bless you all and protect you, and grant you peace and serenity. We love you, and are here for you.

  26. When I would see Josh here at work I would ask him about his family. He was so proud to be a dad, he would just light up like a Christmas tree with that big shy grin. I could tell how important his wife and kids were to him, and how excited he was to be a young father. And I just knew he would be a good father, doting over his daughters. Sometimes he would show a picture of them. My most heart-felt sympathies to his family. We lost a kind and gentle soul.

  27. One of the things I enjoyed most about coming to work in the mornings was saying good morning to Josh with that great smile of his. He set the tone for the rest of my day. He will certainly be missed by all he came in contact with. He was just that kind of personality. It is such a small and close community since I was lucky to get to know and work with Josh and my wife, Beth was blessed to know and work with Harriett on another contract. Beth always loved to hear Harriett talk about Josh and his many adventures growing up and she was heart-broken when we got the sad news.
Harriett, just know that you and your family are in our prayers and I know Josh is looking down on all of us with that big smile.

    Marion and Harriett,
I was saddened to hear of the lost of your son. You raised an exceptional son who was loving, kind, considerate, a good son, father, and husband but most of all a child of the King. You have to rest in the knowledge that God knows best. While it will be difficult – God will give you the strength to endure and accept what He allows. I will be praying for you both and your entire family.

  48. To Marion and Harriett Lewis,
From the moment we met you both while working at NASA in the 80s, we became friends then and remain friends now. We are deeply in sorrow with you and your family. We still remember seeing Joshua as a little boy when you provided him with his first drum set. God is pleased with everything. God is glorified in everything. The celebration of your son’s life is pleased with Jesus Christ. Our hearts are filled with the spirit of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Name we say Amen! This is not the end for Joshua but the beginning of God’s promise of Eternal Life. We are here for you and your family and just a phone call away. God’s Will has a divine purpose. We love you but God loves you more and he gets all the Praise and Glory. Congratulations Joshua, job well done. Enjoy your new home in Heaven.

  49. To: Mr. and Mrs. Lewis,
My heart is crushed, just hearing about the
Loss of my beautiful young man.
As you go through this difficult things can
Cause us to ask, why did this happen? God
May never reveal His reason, but He has revealed
His character to us. He assures us that He is
Ever faithful, always caring, and will never
Leave us in our time of need. He holds you by
The hand and will never let go.
    Prayerfully your
    Mrs. Courtney
