Joseph “Tony” Anthony Comeaux

Joseph “Tony” Anthony Comeaux, 67, passed away on April 18, 2022 in Houston, TX. He was born on June 27, 1954 in Houston, TX and resided in the greater Houston area for his entire adult life. He was a member of the Life Point Church in League City, TX. Tony graduated from A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear engineering, and with P.E. Certifications in Chemical Engineering. He went on to become a control systems engineer in the Petrochemical Industry and several chemical plants in the greater Houston area.

Tony passed away after an almost six year battle with leukemia. He was a dedicated man of faith. Among his passions in science, innovation and industry, he made his most lasting mark in the Biblical teaching of creationism. Sought after in communities of higher education, he taught how modern science actually proved the Bible. He believed that eventually science would catch up, and he lived to finally see that begin to happen.

He lived an unconditional and unwavering love for his wife, Pam, and family. He adored his grandkids and committed his life to his example for their legacy. He will be greatly missed.

Tony reunites with his father, Joseph Stanley Comeaux.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Pamela Joy Bullock. He also leaves behind his mother, Nylda Ortiz Tulla, his two daughters: Tia Edwards and her husband Kevin; April Johnson and her husband Ken; his son: Cameron Hall and his wife Desiree; his six sisters: Margaret Western, Nylda Eckhoff and her husband Kevin, Theresa Danne, Maria Tyrrel and her husband John, Anne-Marie Comeaux, Catherine Wright and her husband Clint; and his nine grandchildren: Nathan Edwards, Judah Edwards, Kendall Johnson, Kara Johnson, Koryn Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Taylor Hall, Tanner Hall, and Taleah Hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Biblical teaching ministry of Precept Ministries at precept.org.

  1. I only recently came to know Tony and his wife Pam, through a biblical precept study. He was so interesting to talk to. His passion for Jesus and the biblical teachings were so rich and I regret I didn’t know him better and longer. His wife Pam is an excellent biblical teacher and a very strong woman. She kept up her teaching schedule even in the midst of this terrible trial. The comfort the family must have in knowing that Tony is free from pain and in the presence of Jesus will provide daily strength. They’re in my prayers.

  2. Pam and Tia, when we were all in choir at Grace Community Church is a happy memory. I never saw Tony without a smile on his face. During one Easter season He taught me to see the crucifixion more personally. He also gave me a deeper understanding of the incredible love of Jesus. i don’t think he even knew how that impacted me. It was just natural for him to walk and talk about Jesus. My life is richer for having known him, and your great loss is Heaven’s amazing gain. Love you guys and will be praying for you in the days to come.

  3. My heart is sad to hear this but I rejoice in his homegoing! I learned so much from Tony’s teaching of the Bible and I remember how I would tell him I just wanted his brain for one day 😊 He was a faithful servant and I loved serving with him in the new believers ministry years ago. Praying Gods peace and comfort for you Tia, Pam, his grandkids and all your family who will miss him! 🙏🏻

  4. My sincere condolences to the family and other friends of this sweet, Jesus-loving, Jesus-honoring man. You couldn’t have a conversation with Tony and NOT know his faith was in Christ. Praying God’s comfort and peace for all.
