Doug was a man that would give the shirt off his back and was the first person willing to lend a hand. You could find him in the mornings with a cup of coffee and his crossword puzzle. He always had a joke for you, and you were either going to laugh hysterically or say “oh my goodness” He was known by many nicknames Dougie Fresh, Skunky, Trash, Mr. T but his most cherished was Papa T. He will always be known for his famous words “whoop there it is” He loved hunting and fishing, but his grandbabies were his pride and joy.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Dazara and Margaret Trosclair. Grandparents Joseph & Celeste Trosclair and Edwin and Mae Hudson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Brandy Perez and husband, Jeremy, Ashley Flores and husband, Kelly and daughter Chelsea Trosclair; son, Mark Trosclair; sister, Debbie Mantell and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Haiden, Kennedy, Ella, Cole, Cooper and Casen Perez, Adilynn and Wyatt Flores and niece, Jamie Boudreaux and husband, Blaine. 7. So very sorry for your loss. Doug truly was one of a kind and I have many fond memories of him especially in my teen years. Doug, being the younger, inquisitive brother of my best friend, his sister Debbie, kept us at a times aggravated but still laughing and smiling at his antics. I watched him grow into a great guy who was opionated and the life of the party. May he rest in peace and my condolences and love to the family.

Doug Trosclair was more than a friend, he was family, I have known Doug for over 50 years and he was one for the most enjoyable & caring people you could meet. Doug stopped in our Grocery Store every day when it was “Howard’s Drive Inn”. He always had a good and amusing stories or pranks that would make everyone laugh. Doug was a very caring person. He would visit his Mother & Dad every day. Doug will be missed but never forgotten. From the Howard Family.
