Brenda Lea Riner
Brenda Lea Riner, 64, of Santa Fe TX passed away on March 12th, 2025. She was born on May 2nd, 1960, in South Park to Dale and Margie Benton. She later moved to the north side of Houston, where she remained until her mid-forties. Brenda then relocated to Santa Fe, where she was fortunate enough to be involved in the everyday lives of her extended family, a role she deeply cherished.
Brenda was a woman of many passions, but above all, she loved her family. She shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters and found joy in the simple moments spent with loved ones. Her deep love for animals, appreciation for all types of music and incredible talent for cross-stitching where she made many beautiful works of art were just a few things that made her so special. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Dale and Margie Benton; sister Patricia Culp; and the love of her life Steve Riner. She is survived by her daughters Kelly Hamons and Jennifer Arrowsmith and husband Stephen; sister Cindy Cherry and husband John; grandchildren Addalyn Lyon, Lily Hamons, Chelsea Hamons, Leilani Arrowsmith and Stetson Arrowsmith; Brenda is also survived by her nieces and nephews Connie and significant other Stephanie, Robert, John II and wife Jena, Kristi and husband Shawnn and Stephanie and husband Steven; numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews all of who she adored.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday
March 14th, 2025, at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E.
Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581.
A funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday March
15th at Crowder Funeral Home Pearland, TX, with John Cherry
II officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery in
Pearland, TX.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Arrowsmith, John Cherry III, Gauge
McFarland, Shawnn McFarland, Steven Falcon, and Robert
Pelzer. Honorary pallbearers will be John Cherry and Mitchell
Bosworth. Brenda’s love, kindness, and warmth will be deeply missed but
forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
Our Dear Sweet Cousin will be greatly missed and remembered as a gentle and kind soul who loved everyone, including all living creatures. A real Sweetheart who reminded me a lot of our Grandmother, Nellie Wilson. So long, Brenda.. Rest in Peace and save us a place in Heaven!
It was our granddaughter’s that brought us together but it was your beautiful spirit that I grew to know and love. Although we didn’t know each other long you are unforgettable with that beautiful smile and joyful laughter. We are not here for a long time just a good time and that my friend I will cherish those special memories with you.
