Terence Myron Wright
Terence Myron Wright was born on June 13, 1970, in Farmerville, Alabama to the late Mr. William Wright Jr. & Mrs. Margaret Moorer Wright. He was the first and oldest of six children.
Terence (Terry) attended W. J. Jones High School before graduating at Wilcox Central High School in the Class of 1991.
Terry played softball with the Snow Hill Cruisers, where he earned numerous trophies and recognition for his outstanding performance. Known for his powerful swing, he was a standout home run hitter and a key player on the team.
Terry’s first job was working as a brick mason with his uncle, Oscar McCall, at Marshall Thomas Construction Company, where he worked for 5 years.
In a leap of love and faith, Terence relocated to League City, Texas, to begin a new chapter with his fiancé. On January 2, 1997, in Galveston, Texas, Terence joined in holy matrimony with Monikia Yanie Dulaney. Nearly a decade later, their union was blessed with the birth of their beautiful daughter, Tatyana Letha Wright.
In his second job, Terence joined Conley Gas LLC, where he was promoted to the role of a cylinder filler. The company later merged with AIR GAS LLC, where Terence worked for 28 years. During that time, he earned a reputation as a dedicated and loyal employee — but above all, as a trusted friend to his co-workers.
Terry enjoyed watching movies with his family, cooking barbecue, and cheering on football every Saturday — “ROLL TIDE!”
Terence “Terry” Wright passed away on his birthday June 13, 2025, at the early age of 55.
He survived by his loving and deeply devoted wife of 28 years, Monikia “Mona”, one child Tatyana Wright Bacliff, TX; Five Siblings: Sandra Williams, Dutch Bend, AL, Angela (Alvin) Johnson, Greenville, AL, Felicia Wright, Greenville, AL, Gregory (Alicia) Wright , Greenville, AL, Quinton (Gladys) Wright, Florence, AL; a host of devoted, caring and supportive aunties, uncles, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, co-workers, and the Class of 1991.

Praying for our family!
Terence, I had the honor of working with you for over 20 years. (and still it feels like that wasn’t enough) Over that time you became like family and I will always cherish the many memories I have, joking around with you to get through those long days at work. I will miss you my good friend…you will never be forgotten.
I will always remember when Mr.Terry & Mrs.Monikia came to my All-Star baseball games to support & cheer me on, in a way he was good luck cause the first game he came to I hit two homeruns in a single a game. A feeling I will never forget and will always cherish. I am so thankful and blessed to have been able to experience college football Saturdays with the Wright family in my early childhood years and have very good memories of primetime Alabama games at Wright house.
