Oralia Cruz

Oralia Cruz was born on March 11, 1968 in Brownsville, TX to Amado Cruz and Oralia Aguilera Zavala.

She graduated from Dickinson High School with the class of 1988, where she made many life-long friends.

Lalis is preceded in death by her father Amado Cruz senior and her brother Alfredo Cruz.

Oralia is survived by her sweet loving daughters Brenda Lee Ortiz and Jaylee Lizbeth Becerril, her two grandsons Cruz Alfredo Ortiz and Giovanni Nathaniel Ortiz both sons of Cruz M. Ortiz and Brenda Lee Ortiz.

Lalis was her daughter’s best friend; a strong, independent and loving mother. She comforted them with her never ending cares and attention.  Oralia’s sense of humor also made her daughters and grandchildren happy and joyful.  They share many silly memories to cherish.

Oralia was a beautiful person to all and gained her wings on February 1, 2022 in Dickinson, TX.

In her honor, a visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Monday, February 7, 2022 with funeral services 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 8, at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.

You were a sweet and beautiful woman. I have many fond memories of you. And you were a wonderful mother. I’m glad I was able to be apart of your life many years ago.
