Nancy Jo Welch
Nancy Jo Welch, 74, a resident of La Porte, TX passed away on October 30, 2020 in Webster, TX. Nancy was born in Houston, TX on February 28, 1946 to Buren and Cloteal Gray. She retired in 2005 after 22 years working as a security guard for Vopak in Deer Park, TX.
Nancy’s most loved hobbies were saltwater fishing, crocheting and quilting. She also enjoyed painting and spending holidays with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nancy especially enjoyed when her sister Faye Souder came to visit and when she shared vacations with Faye.
Nancy is preceded in death by her daughter, Sheri Speaks; parents and her sisters: Francis Chapman and Judy Davis.
Nancy leaves behind her daughters: Judy Miller, and Betsy Harvel; sons: Dennis Turner, and Bo Guy; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; her sister, Faye Souder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Keeping all of you close to my heart in prayer.
She was so kind to me so many many years ago.
