Theresa Marie Greco
Theresa Marie Greco, age 76, a resident of Hitchcock, Texas, passed away on September 12, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1950 in Galveston, Texas to parents, Peter Seigle and Annie Olga Raska Seigle.
Theresa worked as an administrative assistant at UTMB for Project Launch.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and formerly of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Theresa is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Hrncirik and brother, Peter Seigle. She leaves behind to treasure her memory, daughter, Ann Greco and friend, Sandra Ortega; son, Tony Greco and wife, Leah; sister, Vickie Roush; nephews, Gregory Hrncirik, Michael Hrncirik, Steve Hrncirik, and Derek Roush, grandchildren, Cameron Reuter and Kaiden Greco and great-grandchildren, Adrian Greco and Luca Greco.
In her honor, there will be a memorial service on Friday, 9/18/2026 at 7:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.

My dear Theresa, I miss you so much already. It hurts that you are no longer a phone call away. My heat breaks thinking I will no longer hear your voice except in my memories. Rest with the Angels dear friend, and God willing, if I make it, I will see you in Heaven one day!

Aunt Theresa, you were always very sweet to me. I have fond memories of spending time at your house and playing with my cousins when I was a child. Although we didn’t see each other often later in life, I will always remember your kindness. Rest in peace.

Theresa and I worked together for many years at UTMB ECI Project LAUNCH. She provided clerical support and so much more for our program. She was faithful, a hard worker and a pleasant co-worker, always kind and supportive to all staff. I am regretful to having lost contact with her over these retirement years but cherish the memories I have of her and our working relationship and friendship. She loved her kids and worked hard to provide a loving home for them. I know how devoted she was to her faith and how it sustained her. I know she resides in the loving arms of our Lord. She holds a special place in my heart as she does for many other.
Oh my dear Theresa has transitioned on to the Shamiym(Heavens) with our Heavenly Father. As He welcomed you back home with love, we are enduring hurt during this moment of losing a beautiful angelic person. You were more than a friend over the years, but much like family. The laughter and fun we shared together was extraordinary. I will always cherish the fun we had together. Me, you, and Sandra was inseparable.,Your kindness went a long ways and touched the heart of so many people. Your wee full of joy and gratitude that always shined upon you. I will always love you my dear friend. There will never be another Theresa because the Most High chose only you for that position while you was here on earth.
My condolences to the family and friends of Theresa. She truly was a blessing to all that knew her. Her sweet kindness was that of an Angel and I will never forget the things she did to help me and her son when I was pregnant with her first Grandson. I know that she will be missed more than words can express but take solace in knowing that we will one day all meet again!
My family was good friends with Theresa for many years. She used to look after my brother every Friday night and he looked forward to that weekly visit very much. Theresa lived her life honorably- with patience, humility and joy. She also had a tenderness toward animals that was truly a gift. I know the friends she leaves behind will really miss her loving spirit.

I want to take a moment from the bottom of my heart to thank everyone who has reached out, sent messages, and wrapped my family in love over the past two weeks since my beautiful mother, Theresa, passed away.
To lose your mother is to feel completely untethered, and navigating this grief has been the hardest thing I have ever had to face. But reading your kind words and feeling your support has been a quiet comfort in the dark.My mom was my anchor. Spending this past year fighting for her care and keeping her safe was the greatest honor of my life.
She was a fiercely dedicated woman who touched so many lives during her 76 yrs here on earth, especially during her years at UTMB, and seeing how much she was loved by all of you brings me so much peace. Her memory lives on through all of us who knew her and loved her.
Thank you for remembering her, for checking on me/us, and for lifting us up during this incredibly difficult time. Your well wishes mean more to me than words can ever say.With all my love and gratitude, thank you.
