Losing someone this young with grandkids is especially sad but unfortunately life is a gift with an unknown quantity in years. Each of you will have mind pictures of him with his family and friends and those are forever. He knew he was loved. That’s what counts.

  15. It’s the hardest thing to hear when a loved one has passed. I knew Mike from SSHCC. I remember him from the day I signed him up for membership. He was always such a pleasant gentleman to me and my co- workers. He loved golf and was really a great golfer. I wish I could be there to honor Mike but I’m in Spring, close to The Woodlands and unable to drive at night.
I will be thinking of Mike and want his loved ones to know how much I care and am so very sorry for your loss.

    Pennies from Heaven

    Submitted By: Beverly Faith

    I found a penny today
    Just laying on the ground.
But it’s not just a penny
    This little coin I’ve found.

    Found pennies come from heaven
that’s what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels tossed them down
Oh, how I loved that story!

He said when an Angel misses you
    They toss a penny down,
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don’t pass by that penny
    When you’re feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel’s tossed to you.

  23. Dear Mary and family, Our hearts go out to you in your time of loss. I so regret the missed opportunities to get together with Mike over the last year. Mike was such a character, and loved by many. Gypsy and I so enjoyed being your neighbors all those years. I still have the set of golf clubs Mike so generously gave me. I believe I will take up golfing again, and will always think of Mike when using those clubs.
