Lori Ann Trahan

Lori Ann Trahan, age 63, passed away on March 27, 2026, in Webster, Texas. She was born on November 6, 1962, in Portland, Maine, to Clarence Simmons and Shirley Berube. Lori lived a life marked by love, strength, and devotion to her family, always bringing warmth and light to those around her.

Lori is survived by her devoted husband, John Trahan; her loving daughter, Jandi Chavez, and her husband, Michael Chavez; her son, Jaron Everett; her brothers, Christopher Simmons and Michael Simmons; her cherished grandchildren, Bryce Arnett, Mikaela, Brooklyn and Maverick Chavez, and Jaxon and Alora Everett; her nephew, Aaron Simmons, his wife, Ricci Simmons, and their children; her mother‑in‑law, Judy Edwards; her brothers‑ and sister‑in‑law, Marty Trahan, Ryan Domengeaux, and Cheri Domengeaux; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Lori was a qualified chemical operator and later earned a horticultural certification, reflecting both her strong work ethic and her enduring love of nature. She had a deep passion for traveling and treasured every opportunity to create lasting memories with her family. Lori also adored her animals – her cats, Simba and Nala, and Deek, the beloved dog she shared with John.

She found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life, especially reading psychological thrillers, taking annual family trips to the beach house, and spending time at the movies, where her favorite indulgence was popcorn with extra butter. Lori’s laughter, kindness, and unwavering love created memories that will be cherished forever.

Lori will be remembered as a beautiful soul, a guiding light, and the heart of her family. Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to live on in the lives she touched.

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Lori’s family will greet guests for a Visitation and Viewing from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, TX 77598.

I’m thankful John came into her life and gave her purpose.

  4. I’m Toni Corley, Daniel and Lori were our friends when we lived in Friendswood 1980’s. I was in delivery room when she delivered Jaron, I was one of the first to hold him. We were all very close. Larry Corley, my husband became ill so we moved back to Fort Worth, where he passed March 30th 2012. I found this by accident, we have a family member there as i was looking for her obit I saw this. I loved this girl and her family dearly. I was the Momma of our group for I’m 68. Jandi used to play at our house with my kids Amy and Deric. We had pool parties often spending holidays together. Daniel and Lori were always so fun. She was vibrant with a precious smile. The kids had the best mom. I have never forgotten our love and great times together. Daniel is a good man. Prayers and love from Toni Corley Curry

She and her Husband John were a real strong support of my journey and I could always depend on Lori and her Husband during the Holidays for some banana bread and a real delightful conversation. And No Matter What, she has always been a Dear Friend to me and will be Missed Dearly by me and my family. My Condolences to her Husband and Family. I’m really going to Miss You, Little Buddy. Much Love, Robert D.

  6. Lori was such a special part of my life, and I’ll never forget her kindness—or our backgammon games of Acey Duecy. When my son Brandon was born, she knocked on my door and offered to help—that’s just who she was.

Jandi, I’ll always be grateful to you for helping me care for my son Matthew when he was so tiny. That meant everything to me.

Jaron, my heart hurts for you. I want you to know I believe in you and have faith that you’ll keep the promise you made to your mom.

John, I could tell Lori had found her person in you. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Lori raised an incredible family and will always hold a special place in my heart.
