Janette Marie Larson, of Webster, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the age of 63. She was born on April 26, 1963 in Warren, Ohio to Paul and Eloise Kudary.

Janette loved reading, leading the Clear Lake Science Fiction Fantasy book club and the Page Turners book club at the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library. She worked at the library for 28 years and was indispensable there for her technical skills. She was known as the “machine whisperer”. She also loved her family, her cats, and attending Clear Creek ISD football games and theatrical productions. Janette was a dependable employee, a loyal friend, and devoted many hours to online and phone reference work. She gave the very best hugs.

Janette was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Eloise, her aunt, Elizabeth Fiorenzo, and her sister-in-law Jaymi Kudary.

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey, her daughter Jennifer, and her brothers, Gordon Kudary, David Kurdary, and Paul (Jacki) Kudary Jr., uncles Steve Kajtar and John Kajtar, her aunt Margaret Starkey, and her nephew Dominic Kudary.

A private remembrance will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 3:00 PM at the Crowder Funeral Home on 1645 East Main Street in League City, Texas. Following the gathering she will be cremated according to her wishes. Janette was a successful organ donor who helped many people with gifts from her body.
