  1. I did not hear about Kirk’s passing until yesterday, August 6th via some friends. I am so sorry I missed the memorial service. Kirk was my closest friend during all our teenage years. I loved him and his mom and dad as well, and always will. Very glad to hear he was counseling at the NA center in Alvin for the last ten years. He really went through a lot, and sharing and helping others was a great way to give back before he passed. Rest in peace; I hope to see you again one day!

  2. We were surprised to learn that Kirk died and would have loved to have heard all the memories share at his service. The Adairs moved to Texas City when I was 10, I think. The parents played bridge and attended the same church as we did. We had lots of activities together and we were neighbors. Kirk was my protector when I was going home after playing at their home. He put me on his shoulders and got me home in such a fun way. I look forward to seeing him again when I see the Father’s face at the end of my days.
