  3. My prayer is for each of you to find comfort in this time of such grief. Karen was one of the first persons I met at Channelview High School. She was always encouraging and ready to support her students in every way. God bless your sweet family with precious memories and grace as you go through these days.

    • Sharon,
Thank you so much for your kind words about my mother. I know all of you at CHS held a special place in her heart.

  4. When she spoke, others listened. One woman had on a Cancer Sucks t-shirt in Walmart. She asked the woman if she prayed for the victim of cancer. The woman answered that she was growing weary. Karen responded, “my prayers work.” The woman gave Karen the name she was praying for and I am sure Karen prayed for her.
I would love to have the faith that Karen had
