Mark Anthony Olazabal, 57, passed away on July 30, 2026. He was born on June 13, 1969, in Houston, Texas, where he remained a lifelong resident.

Mark was a beloved son of Emily Ruth Perrine and a cherished Brother of Lynn Marie Barrera. He was well known throughout the Westbrook subdivision in Southwest Houston, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect and trust of his neighbors.

Mark had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a special love for the animals in his neighborhood, caring for them with kindness and compassion. His gentle nature, willingness to help others, and genuine concern for both people and animals left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Mark is preceeded in death by his grandparents. Joe R. Cortez Senior, Ameli C. Cortez, Maria Olazabal, Katy Norris and Roy Rivers, as well as his stepfather Roger W. Perrine.

Mark will be remembered for his caring spirit, his quiet generosity and the kindness he show to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, neighbors, and all who lives he touched.
