  1. Jim was a great friend and a phenomenal human being. I will always remember his wry sense of humor–the perfectly-timed, under-his-breath comments that made everyone laugh at the most inopportune moments! Rest in peace, dear friend. Sending big hugs and lots of love to Jo Ann and the family.

    • In the ten years I worked with Coach Richter, he always had a funny comment to say and was just fun to be around. I loved walking into the lounge where he and “the boys” would hang out. I think my very favorite thing was that during lunch, they would manage to watch an episode of Seinfeld. One of the biggest compliments I’ve ever gotten was the day they tried to get me to watch with them because “they needed an Elaine”. I’m so sorry to his family. I know his absence will be felt for a very long time.

  3. Jimmy was a good friend and a great colleague. I will miss our text messages and our talks about Longhorn football. We had a fun group of teacher friends that laughed and helped each other ease the stress of the school day. We had some awesome meetings in The Place to Be. We miss you already. We need our “Big Toe”. Prayers to Joann and your family. See you on the other side. Love you brother and Hook’em.
