Elizabeth Ann Sims Witten

Witten 4-2016Elizabeth Ann Sims Witten, 88, formally of St Cloud, FL, passed away on April 12th, 2016 in Webster, TX. She was born on May 30th, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky, to Viola Agnes Collard Sims and Claude Jerome Sims, Sr. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Kathy W. Pittman and husband Grant; her son, Douglas A. Witten and his wife Claire; her grandchildren, Jessica Pittman, James Pittman and Logan Witten; and numerous family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Witten; her brother CJ Sims, Jr; her sister, Sister Louise Marie Sims, RSM, and her parents. Texas arrangements are as follows, Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 20th, at 7 pm at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 3131 El Dorado Blvd, Houston, TX 77059. Kentucky arrangements are as follows, Visitation April 22nd from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home, Clarkson, KY. Funeral Mass April 23rd , at 11:00 AM, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 306 Clifty Ave, Clarkson, KY, 42726. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in Elizabeth’s memory may do so to the St. Clare of Assisi Building Fund, 3131 El Dorado Blvd, Houston TX, 77059; to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, or to their favorite charity.
