  1. My girls and I remember Doug fondly. He was more than just a good neighbor – he was a wonderful friend that felt more like family. When he was angry, the whole world knew it. When he laughed, joy radiated.

He was always looking out for his neighbors – science fair projects, hiding Christmas presents, squashing bugs, riding out hurricanes, floods, fires – you name it, Doug was there to help!

I am so thankful we had the chance to know him. Doug will be sorely missed.
