Constance “Connie” Adams Schultz

Constance “Connie” Adams Schultz of Friendswood Texas entered God’s kingdom on February 3, 2022, at the age of 64 after a long battle with dementia.

Connie was born to Robert and Carol Adams on April 24, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  She was the oldest of three sisters.

In 1985, Connie met James “Jim”, a match truly made in Heaven. Connie & Jim went on to marry in 1987 and have two children, Madison Vonderharr and Katherine “Kathy” Schultz.  When her children were born, she made the decision to dedicate her life to being a homemaker and raising her daughters.

Connie was a loyal servant of God. She had loved her church and sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she met.  She regularly attended Calvary Chapel Houston with her husband and could always be found on the back pew smiling and worshiping Jesus. We know that she is in Jesus’ arms now.

Fortunately, dementia never took away Connie’s joy. She could always be found with a beautiful smile on her face. She would light up any room she was in with it. We will greatly miss her.

Connie joins her father Robert “Bob” Adams in Heaven.

She is survived by many loving family members including: her husband Jim Schultz, daughter Madison Vonderharr and husband Joseph Vonderharr, daughter Kathy Schultz, granddaughter Scarlet Vonderharr, mother Carol Adams, sisters Karen Adams and Cindy Ashworth, and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel Houston in Friendswood Texas on February 10th at 11am. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donate to the charity Food For the Poor (www.FoodForThePoor.org) in Connie Schultz’s name (“reference  SC 149673 C. Schultz Memorial Gift – Attn:  Kimberly Amador” in Comments)

2 Timothy 4:7-8

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

John 14:1-3

Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

  8. I think often of the pastor’s description of Connie’s last breath here and then her first breath in heaven. Her instant healing and relief, and her reunion with family and loved ones who were there to greet her. I’m so sorry for our loss but am comforted knowing she’s free.
