Martha S. Moss, 86 of La Marque went to her Heavenly home Friday, August 22, 2026. She was born on March 20, 1940 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Mabel Hocking.  She is survived by her three daughters; Terri J. Scurlock and husband Jimmy of Texas City, Texas, Cheryl Baldwin of Texas City, TX., and Ouida S. Petershogen and husband Shon of Canyon Lake, TX., her son Patrick B. Moss and wife JoAnn of La Marque, TX, her sister Modie Phillips and brother Bobby Hocking and many grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

She was a devoted wife to Donald Ray Moss of Dallas, TX, who passed away in the early 2000’s.  She was a Loving mother. Martha was an extremely hard worker in the The HEB grocery chain and Texas Super Food Store as a Bookkeeper and Manager.  Martha had so many friends through the years and to know her was a true Blessing. She will be missed by so many for years to come.

Visitation for Martha will be on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home  401 Texas Ave (1765) La Marque, Texas.
