Cassie Correne Mitchel

Cassie also enjoyed gardening, raising her bull; lucky, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, quail and bees. She loved her cat and dog, Riley.

Cassie’s boys were her everything. They were the light of her life and everything she did was for Carter and Corbin. They now have the most beautiful angel watching over them.

Cassie attended New Hope Church; and, created The Pearland Community Garden and Farmers Market. She also served on the board of Keep Pearland Beautiful, her local PTAs and Rodeo committee, she was a member of Brazoria County Beekeepers Association. 1. I’m not sure what to say. I am a loss for words,Cassie was such an amazing person. She put her whole heart into everything she ever did. I will always remember the times we would run into each other at Kroger, and we stand in the isle and talk for ever, she was a talker. I will regret never taking the time to go to her house for a drink and more conversations, “The Patio Is always Open ” she would say.
Cassie, you will be missed by so many in Our Home Town. Your two boys will always have a Guardian Angel watching over them.
Go Rest High on That Mountain, your family and friends will be ok.

  6. It’s so difficult to put into words it was so many years ago, in elementary school when I discovered what love was. She taught me just by her being herself how much more precious inner beauty is. Cassie had it all beautiful inside and out. As heart crushing this is. It didn’t matter how much time might have passed, you could always count on her to pick up where we left off. Time and distance never mattered. The love never faded. I count myself blessed to have known her and her family. Her love and character will be everlasting and live on in anyone lucky enough to call her a friend…

  7. My sweet, precious Cassie, Aunt Dottie and Uncle Steve love you so much. I can’t imagine our lives without you in it. I treasure those moments in your kitchen trying to teach me how to make jelly, even though it turned out more like syrup. I will miss the pots of coffee, the long talks, the hugs and just you, being you! You were pretty spectacular, not afraid to try anything and great at so many. I watch you grow up, from a sweet, adorable baby girl to the wonderful, beautiful woman you had become. We are so proud of you! We will hold you in a special place in our hearts, quietly tucked away, holding you close until we meet again. Fly high my sweet angel. We love you.

  11. Cassie! Such a beautiful soul. Loved by so many family and friends. Just like the loss of every family member it’s truly heart breaking. It’s also a time of rejoicing as she joins the ones already gone from this earth. I know she is in Heaven right now giving it Hell. She knows how to have a good time. I will always miss her giving me a hard time about moving back to the Houston area so that we could spend more time together. She always had a spark and energy about her that could cheer you up and make you smile.
So thankful for her recent visit I got to spend with her. I will treasure all the great memories she gave me as I know everyone else will. A great cousin and friend. Love and miss you always.
