Beatriz V. Hill

Beatriz V. Hill was called home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2018. She was the cherished wife of William A. Hill. They shared 60 years of marriage together.
Born on January 14, 1937 in Laredo, Texas, she was the daughter of Leopoldo and Josefa Vargas. Bea graduated Martin High School in 1955. She began working for the Air Force as a secretary at Laredo Air Force Base where she met and married her husband Bill in August 1957. After a medical retirement, Bea continued as a wife, mother and homemaker taking great pride in all. Her love of the Lord and the Church was evident to all who knew her.
Bea is survived by her loving husband Bill, her daughter Patricia Estes and husband Alan Estes of Clear Lake City, Texas, and her grandchildren Ashleigh Estes and Matthew Estes. She is also survived by her sisters Maria Carmen Sanchez of San Francisco, California and Maria Socorro Robinson of League City, Texas, along with nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, 6 to 7 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, Texas. A rosary will follow.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Clare’s Catholic Church in Clear Lake City concluding with a reception in the parish hall. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.

    Please accept my most sincere sorrow and condolences on the passing to our Lord of you beloved wife, mother, grandmother.
    Oscar knew Bea from high school in Laredo, Texas, and Bill from their days with NASA and contractors.

    She was a great and lovely lady. God bless her and may He give you, Bill, and family, the strength you need at this time in your live.

  4. My deepest condolences to you Bill, your daughter and all the family, Carmen and Socorro, too. What a shocking and sad day for me! While trying to find your house, during this visit to my daughter’s in Clear Lake, I find this Obituary!
    Makes me happy to have shared a few good times shopping, not that long ago!
