Allison Mary Wideman

Allison Mary Wideman, or Allie Mae, passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents and went to be with Jesus on Monday, November 23, 2020 at home in League City, Texas after living for 9 beautiful days. Although Allison had a very rare brain condition, she never suffered for one moment. She courageously and miraculously thrived while she was with us. During the 9 days she was here she touched countless lives and she was loved very deeply by family and friendsHer life may have been brief, but it was incredibly impactful and filled with more love than words could describeWe truly believe her life on earth is a true testament to the faithfulness and unconditional love of our God.

Allison Mary was born on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 3:28 am in Galveston, Texas, to Jeffrey Alexander Wideman and Ashley Elizabeth Wideman.

Allison loved being held, she loved to keep her hands in tight fists and close to her face, she always looked around the room curiously, and she loved to grip mommy and daddy’s fingers. She responded to the voices of her family members, she was happy and content when she was warm and snuggled closely, she loved Jesus and she loved her family so very much. She had the sweetest most delicate cry, and she made the most precious, sweet sounding coos all the time.

She was preceded in death by her two great grandmothers that she was named after, Alice Katherine Meyer and Sylvia Mary Hammerberg, as well as her great uncle Michael Joseph Riviezzo, her great-great grandmother Marion Louise Holland, and her great aunt Patricia Doiron Card.

She is survived by her big sister, Riley Grace Wideman, as well as her parents Ashley Elizabeth Wideman and Jeffrey Alexander Wideman.

Her paternal grandparents are Donnie Wideman and Sharon Wideman, Kimberly Wilson and Patrick Wilson. Her maternal grandparents are Richard Meyer and Sonia Meyer, Kathy Davis and Jeff Davis. Her paternal uncle, aunts, and cousin are Andrew Wideman, Kelley Wideman, Stephanie Wideman and Everett Wideman. Her maternal uncles, aunts, and cousins are Alexandria Montgomery, David Montgomery II, Adrianne Meyer, Seth Meyer, David Montgomery III, Nolan Montgomery, and Aidan Montgomery.

Family and friends are invited to her memorial service that will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 10 am at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street League City, Texas 77573. If you are unable to attend the event there will be a link provided for the live stream of the service.
