Carolyn Agnes Baker

carolyn-baker-hair-makeup065Carolyn Agnes Baker, 83, of Dickinson, TX, passed away October 2, 2016, in her home. Carolyn was born January 8, 1933 to Bessie and Walter Lauland in Baytown, TX.  She was a loving wife and mother with an infectious smile and was kind and generous to everyone. Carolyn was a loyal member of Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church and a member of their Charismatic Prayer Group for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Harold Lee Baker and sister Peggy McElhannon.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters Janis Mann (Gerald), Catherine Cornell (Tom),  Vickie Scott (Jim), and Mary McHenry; son Richard Baker (Susan); sisters Betty Ostermayer, Imogene Yozzo, and Normagene Griggs, grandchildren Jason, Jimmy, Debbie, and Kelly Mann, Sherry Monroe, Adele Leggens, Wesley Cornell, Jake and Harrison Baker, Logan and Remi Scott, and Victoria and Briana McHenry, great grandchildren Sydney, Zowie, Myles, and Mason McPherson, Lexi Garza, Jewel Stuart, Corbin Baker, and Jessica and Ricky Monroe.

A visitation in her honor will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, TX. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am, Thursday, October 6, 2016, Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church, Dickinson, TX.  Interment follows at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, TX.
