Bill was one the best people I’ve ever known. He was like a father to me when we worked together at Carbide. I always thought I would see him again before he passed. But guess I’ll see him in the next life. Rest in Peace Bill. I’ll never forget you.
He was a great man. Hard worker true. Union carbide, chief operator. He’ll be missed. I’ll see you again, Bill.
Bill Alford was an outstanding man, helped anyone, honesty was his key thing, RIP my Friend.
I’m so very sad to hear of the passing of Mr. Alford. He knew my grandparents Julius and Travis Carlton, not to mention my entire family. He was one of my Uncle Vernon’s best friends up until my uncle passed away at a very early age. Even after my Uncle Vernon passed away he would still go by my grandparents house to visit with them. Spent many times listening to stories of when my uncles and him were young boys growing up. My momma( Mable Ann Carlton) always said he was a good family friend and a good man, and he definitely was. I’m so very sorry for the Alford’s family’s loss. Sending lots of prayers and love to Mrs. Alford, his children, grandchildren, and all who loved him.
My deepest condolences to the entire Alford Family.
I have known them my entire life. They were the
first family we knew when we moved to Hitchcock
in 1959.He will surely be missed.
Peace and Love.
