When you married into our family you became my brother in law. But, through a friendship and bond we became brothers in spirit. You were a year younger than me but our birthdays were also just one day apart. I would never have to worry about forgetting to tell you happy birthday since mine was a day before yours. We had a lot in common and always enjoyed our time together. We worked in similar industries and both enjoyed sports. You took great care of my sister and my nieces, as well as my nephew, while he was with us in his short time. Both my kids loved you and they were proud to call you Uncle Brandon. Aiden is going to be especially upset and I worry about him the most. He knew you loved him so much and I will always let him support the Astros in your honor, (even though I live in DFW and take him to Texas Rangers games). Aiden will never forget the VIP experience you gave him last year and he still has the baseball from that game that was given to him by Yordan Alvarez. (By the way Alex just found out how much that cost and she’s pissed lol).
I never had a problem keeping up with the Jones’s but it was always hard to keep up with the Wheelers. You worked your ass off to provide them with the best life you possibly could. You made sure your family had everything and I can assure you that Alex, Payton and Madaleine did not go without. Your family was always put first before your own needs and wants and I’ll always respect that about you.
I know you were always in pain over the loss of your son, Bryson and it makes my heart happy to know you are in heaven with him now. Give him a hug and kiss for me and tell him that his Uncle Mikey loves him. You hold down the spiritual side and I’ll hold down the mortality side until we meet again. I love you brother.
