  2. I worked with John at SIP when he and Judy were first starting their life together, they were so cute.. and then I reunited with him 30 years later when working with him again. I got to know him better this last time and learned that John was still that laid back sort of guy but also he had a passion for Christ. I am sure that warms the hearts of his family. John talked about his church and encouraged others to know Jesus. If I had one thing to say about John, it would be that he was kind… to everyone. I know how dearly he will be missed. I pray for God’s comfort for Judy, his girls, his grandson and all others so fortunate to have known him.

  3. The world feels a little less “Good” today with John gone, he was truly a great person and will be missed by many, I was honored to call John my friend for more than 20 years.

  4. I worked with John for about 4 years at SNC-Lavalin. He was highly competent at his work and always worked hard. We worked together on numerous projects and became good friends during that time. We departed SNC on the same day but continued getting together for an occasional lunch. John was very generous and always wanted to pick up the tab. I currently owe him a lunch so we’ll have to even it up in Heaven. He spoke often of his faith in Jesus and was very proud of his Church and family. Like Paul Carpenter, I was also honored to to call John my friend.

  5. I am fortunate to call John and Judy friends since 1980 where we all met at SIP Engineering. We were the “cubs”. We have all managed to stay in touch with one another over the years through work, our annual Christmas dinners at Ellie’s Kitchen, reaching out and helping each other find jobs during unemployment in this crazy feast or famine career we all chose. And now it is time to gather around our dearest Judy and her family and comfort as best we can.

  6. I’ve known John and Judy since the early 80’s. He was a gentle soul with a passion for Christ and his family. He was my daughter’s godfather. I’m going to miss him so. My heart hurts for Judy, Faith and Jaclyn. May his love surround them and bring them peace. Love you John.
