Vicki Diane Herndon

Vicki Diane Herndon,65, of Lumberton, TX formerly of Richmond, TX passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Houston, TX.  Mrs. Herndon was born on December 06, 1951 to Robert and Grace Roberson in Shreveport, LA.  Vicki retired after 31 years of service with Southwestern Bell. She loved her family, her dog Max, fishing, beach combing and planting flowers.

Mrs. Herndon is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Grace Roberson, her loving husband Herbert Smith Herndon Jr., brother Robert Edward Roberson.

Vicki is survived by her daughter Alicia Kelly and husband Jeremiah, son Ryan Latham Herndon, brother Thomas Jerry Roberson and wife Nell, two grandchildren Wyatt Smith Kelley and Ty Terrell Kelley, aunt and uncle Ann and Jim Baughman and numerous nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Crowder Funeral Home 2422 Broadway Pearland, TX 77581. In leu of flowers memorials may be made to the local food banks or to Coastal Conservation Association Texas (CCA Texas), 6919 Portwest Dr., Suite 100, Houston, TX 77024, www.ccatexas.org/donations

Our hope is in Daniels 12:2 … “those asleep in dust of the earth will wake up ..” This beautiful scripture helps all of us who are Having pains of grief , that one day , we will again see ones
    lost to us .
