Teresa “Terri” Lynn Donzello

Terri W Donzello, 73, of San Leon, Texas passed away on June 18, 2024. Terri was born May 7, 1951 in Johnson County Indiana to two loving parents, Charles Freeman Wilson and Lorene Smith Wilson. Terri will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She will also be missed by Facebook and friends at Bar Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Stanley Donzello, her parents, and her two brothers, Charles Randall Wilson and Stanley Alan Wilson. Terri is survived by her son, Chad David Hartsook, and his wife, Rebecca, as well as her two grandchildren Jonathan Albert Hartsook, his wife, Nova and Kyle David Hartsook along with an abundance of wonderful friends, including her very special friends in the community of San Leon, too many to mention, but Terri loved every single one of them.

Terri went to Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She majored in being the class clown and jokester. No joke! Terri loved music and dancing with her husband and best friend, Peter. She was also known as the “Bling Queen”, as she loved to bling anything and everything that stood still.

Terri’s career consisted mainly of Property/Casualty Insurance Underwriting until she made a career change and went into the medical field, where she got certified in medical billing and coding until she retired.

She still laughs at Peter’s poem:

Poems are so tough

I write 2 lines and that’s enough

Terri has gone to meet the love of her life, Peter Donzello.

A celebration of Terri’s life will be held at the Sunset Lounge, 1222 11th ST. in San Leon 4:00 pm Saturday June 29th.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Sisters Helping Sisters at https://www.shstexas.org/.

  1. I will miss you my fabulous Florida friend💕So lucky to call you my friend.

  2. Peter and Terri were our next door neighbors when they lived in Friendswood. They were great neighbors and friends. We somewhat lost touch when they moved to the bay, but communicated on birthdays. Terri’s habit of “being the class clown and jokester” was a life-long passion that generated smiles and laughs in everyone around her.

    RIP Terri.
