Silvestre “Silver” Recio

Silvestre “Silver” Recio, 60, a resident of Friendswood, TX for over 20 years, passed away on February 9, 2020 in Bastrop, TX. Silver was born on July 15, 1959 in Weslaco, TX to Ofelia and Guadalupe Recio. He retired after 30 years of service with Centerpoint.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Guadalupe Recio; brother, Guadalupe Recio.

Silver is survived by his daughter, Christiane Recio of Friendswood; sons: Travis Recio and Tyler Recio both of Friendswood; mother, Ofelia Recio; his significant other, Stacie Rourke, and her son, Tony Little; sisters: Estella Flores, husband Ernesto, Virginia R. Cadena and Hortencia Recio; brothers: Roberto “Bobby” Recio, wife Carmen, Carlos Recio, wife Nati and Lupito Recio, wife Leticia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Crowder Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, TX.
