Shiu‑Ying Mina Frank, 98, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, in Houston, Texas. She was born on February 4, 1928, in Shanghai, China.

Shiu‑Ying was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Frank; and her son, Arthur Frank. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Danielle Endsley and Bernadine Davila; her son, John Frank; eight grandchildren; five great‑grandchildren; and many cherished family members and friends.

She devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, and her faith in Jesus. Shiu‑Ying found joy in gardening, quilting, and sewing—creative passions that reflected her patience, care, and generous spirit.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster, Texas. Burial will follow on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Shiu‑Ying’s memory may make a donation to a charity supporting foster children or animals—causes close to her heart.
