It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Vann Heffron, Sr. 76, resident of League City, Texas on June 11, 2026. He was born in Texas City, Texas to parents Emmitt Milton Heffron and Fannie Mae Vann Heffron on February 6, 1950. He was one of five siblings and graduated from Dickinson High School.
David was an operator, supervisor, and safety consultant in the oil industry. He was a devoted husband for over 50 years, loving father, grandfather and friend to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Heffron; and brother-in-law, Bobby Wright.
David leaves to cherish his memory and a lifetime of achievements, his loving wife, Debbie Heffron; sons, Derrick Heffron and wife Leslie and David V. Heffron, Jr.; sisters, Pat Marburger, Libby Wright; brother, Emmitt Heffron and wife Cynthia; grandchildren, Taylor Heffron, Alex Heffron, Olivia Heffron, Peyton John Heffron, Owen Raymond Heffron, and Penelope Vann Heffron; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
