Sean Riley Miller
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sean Riley Miller, who left us far too soon on April 27, 2025, at the age of 19 in Galveston, Texas.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Sean was raised in Kempner, Texas, and attended school in nearby Lampasas. From a young age, he radiated warmth, joy, and a deep desire to connect with those around him. Whether it was sports, school clubs, or simple time with friends, Sean always sought to be part of something bigger than himself.
A spirited athlete and dedicated student, Sean played golf for Lampasas Middle School, ran cross country, and wrestled for both the Hill Country Wrestling Club and Lampasas High School, from which he graduated in 2024. He was also a passionate fan of Magic: The Gathering and a proud member of his high school’s Magic club.
Following graduation, Sean pursued a future in radiology at Galveston College—drawn not only by his academic interests but also by his love for the ocean. The beach brought him peace and joy, and it was not uncommon to find him strolling along the shore or riding his scooter down the Seawall, soaking in the beauty of the Gulf.
Sean is deeply missed by his loving family: his father, Brandon Miller; his mother, Elida Miller; his brother, Jacob; and his sisters, Brianna and Lola, step mom Danielle and step brother Aiden and step sister Aubrey. He is also survived by his grandparents, Mitchell and Jody Miller, and Joyce Chavez, Gary and Diana Calabrese; his aunts, Nicole and Jamie; his uncle, Tom and his cousins, Sylvan and Rogue. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A viewing for family and close friends will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at James Crowder Funeral Home, 401 Texas Ave, La Marque, TX 77568.
