Deborah Leigh Beninati Muir, 60 of Dickinson passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Clear Lake, Texas.

Deborah lived in Dickinson, Texas, formerly of Bayou Vista and Galveston Texas. She attended Ball High School Galveston and worked at the Galveston Courthouse alongside her father. She acquired her Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine from UTMB, and then worked at Park Plaza Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technician.

Debbie loved her family and friends deeply. She celebrated life through travel, spending time on the water with her husband, BBQ cookoffs and hanging out with friends. She was a kind soul with an unforgettable smile. She had a heart of gold and would always be there for anyone who needed her. She was a beautiful light in this world and will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, VJ Beninati Jr. and Patricia Ragone Olsen. Deborah is survived by her husband of 19 years, Brian Muir, step-son Trevor Muir, sister Lisa Burnett, brother-in-law Michael Burnett, and her nephew Ryan Burnett.

A Memorial Service will be at 3:00pm on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque with Pastor Wes Owens officiating.
