Robin Jean Craig Puryear

Robin Jean Craig Puryear passed away May 28, 2024.  She was born on September 16, 1960, the 4th child of Margaret Beck Craig, and Joseph Kenneth Craig.  She was raised in Youngstown, Ohio and a proud graduate of East High School.  After graduation she visited her brother in Texas and decided that Texas was the place for her.  After moving permanently to Texas, she worked at Luby’s Cafeteria where she met Mark Puryear and they were married January 20th, 1990. Robin and Mark welcomed their son Daniel July 1992.  Daniel was the light of Robin’s life.  Robin worked for over 40 years at Besco and Bay Electric as main bookkeeper and manager.  Upon Mark’s passing she took on all aspects of running a successful company.  She treated all of her employees fairly and made sure upon retirement and sale of the company her employees had a place with the new owners.  Robin was kind, loving, and generous to everyone, especially her family who she loved dearly.  She once told her sister that she kept her home so all her family could gather there when they got together, and we did.  We all had fun.

She is survived by her loving son Daniel Brian Puryear, Thomas Henry, Patty Loguidice (sister)  partner Joe, Joseph Craig (brother) and wife Linda who Robin considered a sister, Sharon Fletcher (sister) husband Stan, Pam Brown (sister) husband Ira.  All of her wonderful nieces and nephews Brandon, Ivory, April, Kelly, Stan 2, Joseph, Jennifer, Heather, Brandy, Robert and Dante.  All of her great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by her parents Margaret and Joseph Craig, Former husband Mark and his parents Martha and Ceci Puryear.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 6-8 PM with a Ceremony at 7 o’clock at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas 77573.

My dear aunt Robin you will forever be in my heart I will never forget all the memories we have because of you I grew into the person I am today you taught me how to love and care and appreciate the small things in life I know you will be watching me from up above and I will always continue to make you proud. You would always take pictures of every event no matter if it was just going to get something to eat too staying out in the cabin for the spring or summer but today I sit back and realized that it was a reason behind all the photos as I see you uploaded everything to Facebook from birthdays to graduation I want to say thank you for always taking those pictures now we all have something to look back on.
