Robert Ray Day, Jr., of Friendswood, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in Webster, Texas at the age of 63. He was born on September 19, 1959 in Springfield, Illinois. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Robert Day, Sr. and (Gloria) June Lamsargis. He is survived by his children Robert R. Day, III, of Rochester, Illinois, Shirley H. Heath of Stanley, Wisconsin; step- dad, James Lamsargis of Springfield, Illinois; sisters Jan Schmidt of Springfield, Illinois, Debbie Rowley and husband John of Springfield, Illinois, Becky Day of Athens, Illinois, Jodi McMullan and husband Jason of Springfield, Illinois, Lori Day and partner Jim Tisdale of Chatham, Illinois; grandchildren Tahlia Walton, Aaliyah Moore, Olivia Moore, Mayonna Hannah, Emily McConnell, Robert R. Day IV, Gabriel Robertson and many other loving family and friends. Memorial services will be at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetary, Springfield, IL.
