Richard “Richie” Geers, Jr.

Richard “Richie” Geers, Jr., 43, of La Marque passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017. He was born on April 2, 1974. He was a ten-year resident of Galveston County; previously, living most of his life in South Houston. He was a service manager at Ace ImageWear, of Houston for ten years.

Richie graduated from South Houston High School class of 1993. He played football from grade school to graduation. He then went on to be a professional Wrestler in the main Entertainment Industry and in many independent circuits, traveling in many states and other countries until an unfortunate injury left him to retire.

He was an amazing husband, devoted father, loving son, brother, godfather and a great friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jason Geers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christie Geers; daughter, Laila Geers; parents; Barbara and Charles Nelson; godchildren, cousins, other relatives, many friends; and his fur babies, Phoebe and Hannah.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas with interment following at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery.
