Phillip Bustamante

Phillip Bustamante, 30, of La Marque, Texas passed away on June 23, 2017.
He was born on October 30, 1986 in Galveston to Edward and Mary Ann Bustamante. He was baptized from Sacred Heart in Galveston on November 2, 1986 by Father Paul.

Phillip graduated from La Marque High School Class of 2005; he received his welding certification from College of the Mainland. He worked as a Welder just like his dad.

He was a very kind hearted and loving person; he loved spending time fishing with his Dad and brother. Phillip loved God, life, his family and friends and he always had a smile. He was a devoted Son, Brother and Uncle.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Gabriel and Maria Bustamante, Sr., Juan and Lucia Puentes, nephew Derrick Breaux, Merced Garza III and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Phillip is survived by his parents Edward and Mary Ann Bustamante, Sr.; sister Mary Alice and Michael Lopez; brother Edward Manuel Bustamante, Jr and Theresa Bustamante; nieces and nephews: Errick, Alessica, Jerrick Breaux, Olivia and Xavier Lopez and Evangelina, Edward III and Elijah Bustamante; grandnephew: Amir Williams and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm with a rosary at 7:30pm with Deacon John Carrillo officiating at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral Service will be at 9:00am on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque with Father Chacko Puthumayil officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Edward Bustamante, Jr., Robert Mendoza, Jr., Gregory Mendoza, Joaquin Bustamante, Sr., Eric Puentes, Moises Mariness, and Danny Puentes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Garza, Jarron Bland, Errick Breaux, Jr. and Richard Bustamante, Jr.
