Nancy Sue Van Handel

Nancy Sue Van Handel, 54, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in Webster, TX. She was born on October 21, 1967 in El Paso, TX to Roy Moulder & Magdalena Barraza. Nancy is survived by: her husband, Corey Damien; her parents; sister Annette, and numerous family members, friends and cat, Sammy.

When her nation called she answered by joining the Army and serving from 1986 – 1991. She earned an Associates degree from the Art Institute of Houston and worked as a Graphic Designer for San Jacinto Community College for 15 years. She had a passion for video games, and loved to bake and cook.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 6:30 PM at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, TX 77598, officiated by Fr. Dominic Pistone. Graveside Services and Internment will follow on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 104100 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, with a Service and Full Military Honors rendered by V.F.W. Dist. 4.
