Nancy Munsell Crowhurst

Nancy Munsell Crowhurst, 85, passed away on June 12, 2020 in Clear Lake City, Texas. She was born on September 9, 1934 in McMahan, TX to Harvey and Mattie Munsell. Nancy is survived by her favorite sons Mike and wife Carolyn, Scott, and Chad; and her grandsons Michael II and Daniel Crowhurst.
Nancy started her life as the thirteenth child of an itinerate dairy farmer and ended her professional career as a Senior Executive Assistant for the Lockheed-Martin and Jacobs companies at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Nancy and her team won numerous awards including the Group Achievement Award, SEAT Team Award, and other commendations related to the Shuttle-Mir program, STS-90, and STS-78 missions. Nancy had a passion for her home, her children and grandchildren and loved to work in her yard and flower garden.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a memorial donation in Nancy’s memory may do so to the American Lung Association Houston, at 2550 North Loop West, Houston, TX, 77092

  3. We are so very sorry for your loss!!! Your Mom raised was so proud of her boys, her three Favorite sons, that is so special. We only know one of her Favorite sons and she did a wonderful job raising her boys.
