Michelle Marie Murz,

 

 

Michelle Marie Murz, 47, a resident of Pearland, TX passed away on November 2, 2021 in Houston, TX.  Michelle was born on March 1, 1974, in Houston, TX. She was deeply loved by her husband, kids and extended family.  She was passionate about music and also enjoyed being with others. Michelle attended St. Helen Catholic Church and was the choir director at Barry Miller Junior High.  She was a member on the Texas Music Educators Association and a Houston Baptist University Alumni.

She is preceded in death by her father, CP Abshire and her brother, Carl Abshire.

Michelle leaves behind her husband, James Murz; daughter, Elizabeth Murz; sons: Jacob Abshire-Womack and Daniel Murz; mother, Connie Taft; sisters: Christine Taylor, and Laurie Frazier; brothers: Dirk Abshire, Lonnie Abshire, and Patrick Abshire.

There will be a visitation from 9:00am to 10:30am, Friday, November 5, 2021 at Crosspoint Church in Pearland, with a service to begin at 10:30am and a private committal service to follow.

She always had a kind word to say, and during some of the darkest times of my life, she would find the right words, usually said simply, that made a difference. A bright light has left us, but she will grace heaven with her wit, her charm, her great voice, and her beauty. I’ll sleep a little more soundly tonight knowing she’s up there on my side.
