Melissa Ann Gomez

Melissa Ann Gomez, 46, went to be with her Lord on January 25, 2019. Melissa was born July 4, 1972 in Houston, TX and has been a life long resident of Houston. Melissa was employed with Lisle Violin shop in Pasadena for 10 years, she attended St. Francis of Cabrini and was a member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Vincent and Victoria Castillo, and Enrique Gomez.

Melissa is survived by her daughter, Emily Grace Vasquez; son, Damian Matthew Gomez; parents, Enrique Gomez and Luz Gomez; grandmother, Victoria Macias Ramos; sister, Cynthia Gomez; brothers: Enrique Gomez Jr., Jesus Ricardo Gomez, wife Sheree and Luis Gabriel Gomez; Nieces and nephews: Alexis Gomez, Jenae Gomez, Kalie Gomez, David Gomez, Diana Gomez, Susanna Carrizales, Ernesto Carrizales Jr., Julissa Gomez, Luis Gomez Jr., and Mariah Gomez.

Melissa was a loving devoted mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She enjoyed traveling. Some of her favorite destinations included California, Arkansas, San Antonio, Padre Island and Kemah, where she enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to smile and had a passionate love for her caramel frappuccinos from Starbucks. Regardless of her circumstance, she remained positive and smiling to her last day. Her loving presence will be greatly missed.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway Pearland, TX 77581.

  2. I’m sorry for her lost. I wish she could have been with our daughter longer. I’m grateful she has given me such a wonderful daughter. I love my daughter so much.

  3. I love you Melissa! Growing up with Damian, you where always there to make me laugh! I loved the conversation about your shot glasses and how much you loved your coffee. Me and damian would go in the middle of the night to bring you some coffee.. you will truly be missed..
