Justin Thomas Sparks

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Justin Thomas Sparks who left us on July 1, 2025 at the age of 25. Justin was born on February 29, 2000 in Webster, TX and spent his first and last night on Earth at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dwayne and Carolynn Sparks.

He is survived by his parents, Scott Sparks (Becky Levy), Dorian Sparks – Lincoln (John Lincoln), Grandparents Ray and Linda Huff, Brother Joshua Sparks, Aunts and Uncles, Tom Caraway, Todd Johnson, Dwayne Sparks, Jr, Amy Morgan, cousins Parker and Avery Morgan, and step siblings Zane and Olivia Lincoln, and Connor and Chase Soriano.

Justin also leaves behind his beloved dog Harper, who was the love of his life. He was a devoted and incredible dog dad, and their bond was truly special.

Justin was a kind soul who had an empathy for others that can’t be taught. His goal in life was to make a difference and that he did. Driven by a desire to help and uplift those around him, Justin was the kind of person who would stop to lend a hand, listen without judgment, and go out of his way to make someone’s day a little brighter. He believed in making a difference—not through grand gestures, but through everyday acts of kindness, service, and love. He is survived by his family and countless friends who were touched by his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering generosity.

Though his time with us was far too short, Justin’s light continues to shine in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the doctors and staff at Texas Children’s Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion they showed our sweet boy. Justin touched their hearts, just as their kindness and dedication left a lasting impression on ours.

Justin brought light and joy to everyone around him, and in that spirit, we kindly ask guests to wear bright colors. Let us honor his vibrant personality and the happiness he shared by dressing in colors that reflect the warmth and positivity he brought into our lives. Thank you for helping us celebrate Justin’s beautiful spirit.
