Lottie Jo Rotenberry, 87, a resident of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away on April 14, 2026. She was born on March 28, 1939 in Diboll, Texas to parents, Ancel William Gibson and Myrl (Widner) Gibson. She was one of six siblings.

Lottie was married to, Marvin Rotenberry in 1969. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ladies Auxilary # 3789. Her greatest joy was found in the care of her family and home. She was a devoted wife, a loving and self-sacrificing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a loyal friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her  devoted husband, Marvin Rotenberry; sister, Virginia Keating and husband Ken Keating; brother, Roy Gibson and wife Nancy Gibson.

Lottie leaves behind to cherish a lifetime of love and laughter her daughter, Carolyn Jane Nelson and husband Judge Mike W Nelson; son, Richey Walter Clifton and wife Jan Clifton;grandchildren, Doug Rotenberry and wife Sydney, and Sarah Jane Nelson; great-grandchildren, August Rotenberry and Sterling Husky; brothers, Bobby Gibson and wife Joyce, Buddy Gibson and wife Trish, and Ricky Gibson and wife Jan; as well as numerous extended family and friends. A special thank you to Jeana Tucker, who befriended and helped care for Lottie during  her last months, always bringing a smile to Lottie’s face.

In her honor a visitation will be held Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 1:00-3:00pm with a funeral service following at 3:00pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 20, 2026 at 1:00pm in the Damascus Cemetery, Corrigan, Texas.
