Kenneth Wayne Eaves

Kenneth Wayne Eaves, 74, of Pearland, TX — formerly of Albuquerque, NM — passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Galveston, Texas, on November 22nd, 1950, to Evelyn and Billy Eaves, Kenneth lived a life full of love, laughter, and loyalty. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and proudly spent over 20 years working for Rich Ford Automotive in New Mexico before settling back in Texas.

To know Kenneth was to know unwavering love and dedication. He was an amazing husband, a devoted father, and the most cherished Paw-Paw. Family was everything to him, and he never missed a chance to show his pride and support for those he loved. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines, offering words of encouragement, or simply being there when it mattered most, Kenneth gave his all.

Kenneth was the New York Yankees’ number one fan — proudly collecting baseball memorabilia throughout his life. His passion extended beyond baseball as he also found joy in collecting stamps and coins, sharing stories behind each treasured piece. He loved traveling the open road in his RV, exploring new places with the people (and pets) he loved most. A lifelong lover of dogs, Kenneth’s home was always filled with furry companions who brought him comfort and joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Billy Eaves.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Casey McKillip-Eaves; his daughters Dawn Craig (Stephen) and Jennifer Ryan (Nathaniel); his son Christopher Chance Young (Lacee); his brother Chauncy Eaves (Susan); and his beloved grandchildren: Elizabeth Craig, Madison Craig, Elliott Ryan, Olivia Ryan, Maverick Young, Mylah Young, and Chloe Young.

Pallbearers honoring Kenneth will be Stephen Craig, Nathaniel Ryan, Chance Young, Eddy Losinski, Tony McKillip, and Steven Ward.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway St., Pearland, TX 77581. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Kenneth’s honor on Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd, Pearland, TX 77581, with burial to follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kenneth’s honor may be made to your local humane society — a tribute fitting for a man who loved animals and lived with an open heart.
