Kenneth Kyle Jackson, Sr.

Kenneth Kyle Jackson, Sr. 67, resident of Dickinson, Texas passed away on November 5, 2025. He was born in Austin, Texas on October 6, 1958, to parents, Kenneth Gene Jackson and Mary Lou (Williams) Jackson.

Kyle proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp.

He made a career as a jeweler, liked to joke, had a huge loving heart, and is famous for his guitar rendition of Sweet Home Alabama.

He was a member of Pine Drive Baptist Church in Dickinson, Texas, and was a Christian.

Kyle is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay (Sheppard) Jackson, son, Nicholas Austin Jackson and father, Kenneth Gene Jackson.

He leaves behind to treasure his memory, mother, Mary Lou Jackson, bonus mother, Dodie Jackson; sons, Kenneth Kyle Jackson, Jr. and Robert Travis Jackson (Laura Ann Jackson); sisters, Kimberly Jackson Wilson (Larry), Jimi Lou Steambarge and Tami Leigh Steambarge (Eddie Abbott) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 9:45am at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A graveside service will follow at Houston National Cemetery at 1:45pm. Interment will follow.

Serving as pallbearers are Travis Jackson, Tanner Galyon, Eddie Abbott, Chris Jackson and Kevin Kinzie.
