Jose Raul Trevino, Jr., of League City, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 in Houston, Texas at the age of 72. He was born on February 7, 1954 in Los Fresnos, Texas to Jose and Herlinda Trevino.

Jose began his career in December of 1975 with GTE – Verizon and retired after 35 years.  He was a devout Christian and was raised in the First Baptist Church.  He loved sports, such as baseball and wrestling and enjoyed supporting the Houston Astros. He was a loving husband, father and brother and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Herlinda, sisters Ophelia, Josephine and Celia and brothers Ruben and Leo.

Jose is survived by his loving wife Ruthie, son Stephen, brother Benny, sister LaLa and many loving family and friends.

The Family will receive friends on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 6-9:00pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.  A Ceremony will follow on Saturday at 11:00am at First Baptist Friendswood, 209 S Friendswood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546.

A Grave Side Ceremony will follow at 12:30pm at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
