John Tran

John Tran, 66, of League City, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026. He was born on October 16, 1959, in Phu Yen, Vietnam, to Thay Tran.

John was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and successful business owner. He was the owner of 7 Week Days Food Store in La Marque, Texas, where he worked diligently for many years and became a familiar and respected member of the community. He was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones and creating lasting memories with his children and grandchildren.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Le Nguyen Tran; his daughters, Kim Travis, Vicki Travis, and King Tran; his sons-in-law, Roland Perez and Kevin Denley; his sisters, Du Tran and Hang Tran; and his brothers, An Tran and Thang Tran.

He was a proud grandfather to Dreshon Travis, Lamont Travis, Trey Perez, Shay Anthony Tran Perez, Aliyia Perez, Alyssa Perez, and Le Tran Nguyen, and a cherished great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren. His grandchildren brought him immense pride, joy, and happiness throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thay Tran.

John was a faithful member of the Vietnamese Martyrs Church in Houston and had been a resident of League City for more than forty-three years. Through his faith, his business, and his devotion to family, he touched the lives of many and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

In memory of John, a visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway Street, Pearland, Texas 77581. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.

John’s legacy of love, faith, hard work, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
